This product exists because of our dog, Cosmo Jr.
Cosmo Jr is a Goldendoodle. He was diagnosed with megaesophagus — and it took time to get there, because the earliest signs didn't look like an emergency. They looked like a dog bringing food back up after meals. No heaving, no distress, nothing that screamed "this is serious." It's easy to miss, and even veterinarians don't always catch it on a first pass.
He was also diagnosed with myasthenia gravis. We didn't build PiGenTek Pet AI because we're veterinarians. We built it because we aren't — because we spent real time trying to understand what was happening to our own dog, cross-referencing symptoms, learning which questions to actually ask our vet, and wishing we'd had something that could help us organize what we were seeing sooner.
Cosmo Jr is doing well today. His myasthenia gravis is in remission, and we manage his megaesophagus day to day with a Bailey chair and careful feeding routines. This product is us continuing what that experience taught us — staying close to our vet's guidance, educating ourselves properly, and building the tool we wish we'd had earlier.
